Day 01: Arrival in Cochin
Upon arrival at Cochin airport or railway station, you will be welcomed into Kerala’s commercial capital, also known as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea." Cochin, situated in Ernakulam, boasts one of the finest natural harbors in the world and has historically been a major hub for trade with the British, Chinese, Portuguese, and Dutch. Start your Cochin sightseeing adventure with visits to the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, the famous Chinese Fishing Nets and St. Francis Church. Overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 02: Cochin to Munnar
After breakfast, you will embark on a journey to the picturesque hill station of Munnar. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Munnar, once the summer retreat of the British Government in India, is famed for its endless tea plantations and year-round pleasant climate. Day 03: Munnar Sightseeing
After enjoying breakfast, embark on a journey to discover the natural beauty of Munnar. Explore Echo Point and the Mattupetty Dam, where you can enjoy speed boating. Day 04: Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and set off on a drive to Thekkady. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Thekkady hosts the renowned Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the most esteemed wildlife reserves globally, spanning 777 square kilometers, with 360 square kilometers of verdant evergreen forest. Established as a Tiger Reserve in 1978, it is celebrated for its distinctive terrain, rich biodiversity, and stunning vistas. Enjoy local sightseeing and overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 05: Thekkady to Cochin – Departure
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Cochin airport or railway station for your onward journey.
Cochin
