Jim Corbett

The Corbett region in Uttarakhand, featuring India’s oldest national park—Jim Corbett National Park—brings to mind the vivid scenes from Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book. This stunning landscape features hilly ridges interspersed with flat valleys and lush grasslands that give way to marshy wetlands, showcasing a diverse range of flora and fauna. With its breathtaking views and adventurous spirit, Corbett attracts those with a thirst for exploration. Just a short distance from the charming hill station of Nainital, the area is a haven for wildlife, boasting over 500 bird species and 50 mammal species, including tigers, leopards, sloth bears, spotted deer, elephants, and wild boars.
